The Trainer
Dean Black is the trainer, having spent the last 21 years training in Martial arts and 16 of them in Muay Thai he is well qualified to take your training to the next level. Dean has fought professionally on some of the UKs biggest shows including at the o2 London and has trained at the best Muay Thai gyms in the south of England.
The 1 to 1 sessions start with a warm up and a chance to see what level your fitness and ability is at, the sessions are designed around the individual so you do not need to worry if you are a complete beginner you will be taught at a comfortable pace for your level of fitness and skills.
The Sessions
What Will you Be Doing?
You will warm up, then be taken on the Thai pads to work punches both single and combos and then onto knees and kicks and finally using all the skills to work 3 minute rounds on the pads.
So what's in it for you?
You get the personal attention of the trainer who can speed up your learning and skills and correct any bad form and habits before they set in, if you already have bad form it will be spotted and corrected. You will get the best pad work which is important as there is nothing worse then a bad pad holder. For those looking to try something new this is a fun adrenaline fuelled session. Already experienced you can be pushed both technically and your endurance as Deans wealth of experience training in gyms over the years has given him a broad knowledge of some inspiring and some gruelling exercises dedicated to Muay Thai training and your development in Muay Thai.
Obvious health benefits are weight loss, increased cardiovascular fitness, better flexibility, toned muscle, less stress leading to a better wellbeing.
All training is done at the clients home or gym space, some sessions can be done outside in local parks if you do not have a space to train in.
